After you cross the Nile River and arrive on the western side, you’ll be taken to the Thebes – an ancient Egyptian city with a necropolis. There you’ll then go to the Valley of Kings where kings are buried in the valley in tombs. Some names you may recognize buried in this valley are Tuthmosis, Tutankhamun, and even King Ramses VI! Once you’ve passed through the valley and marveled at the striking architecture there, you’ll be taken to an even grander monument which is the Temple of Hatshepsut!

Lastly you’ll visit the two Colossi of Memnon which stand at the spot where the temple of Amenhotep III used to be. These two statues stand alone and are a marvel of skill and architecture that came from the Egyptians many years ago. From there, you’ll be allowed to purchase various souvenirs before being returned to your hotel in Luxor.
