Luxor consists of three parts: the city of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile, the Karnak temple district, and Thebes on the west bank of the Nile. The city is rich in historical locations and ancient culture. Over centuries, Thebes was the most powerful city in the Orient. I can highly recommend the tour to anyone who is looking to see as much as possible in one tour. I had a very knowledgable guide Mimo who spoke English fluently, and was very attentive and accommodating. Much content in the day, buffet lunch was great I'm a vegetarian, all in all a great day to be had. One thing I would have liked is more time at the various sites. Due to the distance you have to cover in one day, time is limited at each site - I guess one just has to accept this. It is a long day so expect to be very tired by the end of it, but it will be worth your while.
