We booked tour package that included Cairo and Luxor and also Quad safari in the desert. In Cairo we had a great guide, very friendly Mohammed. Pyramids are so much bigger than you can ever imagine. I can not believe we actually were there. It is better to visit early to avoid people. You will need to leave your camera outside of the pyramid as it is forbidden to bring one inside. We also visited the Egyptian Museum which is one of the best museums I have ever seen. For relaxation, there was a short Nile cruise and a lunch overlooking the pyramids. Luxor is about 3 hours ride from Hurghada and tour starts early in the morning to avoid heat. We visited Karnak which is very big and consists of many temples. During our Luxor tour we also visited Valley of the kings with 3 tombs included and Tuthankamun tomb which costed extra 100 egyptian pounds, Hatshepsut temple and Memnon statues. The quad safari was something different to do but surely very enjoyable. I recommend to take glasses and scarfs to this tour. Everything was very well organized. I would surely recommend.
